Notification to parents of incident, injury, trauma and illness

The approved provider of an education and care service must ensure that a parent of a child being educated and cared for by the service is notified as soon as practicable, but not later than 24 hours after the occurrence, or alleged occurrence, if the child is involved in, or alleged to be involved in, any incident, injury, trauma or illness while the child is being educated and cared for by the education and care service.
